Transcription (slightly corrected) of the video:

This scene where Jack Acers meets Ben in the cafeteria is quite different from the scene in the book. In the book they are in a small coffee corner with coffee from a machine and they stand at a table. But I decided to make it more royal. That P&S Steel has big catering area where they can have their coffee breaks.

At this point when I was making the text balloons…

You see I always have the book beside me and then I’m going to translate the dialogues the best I can. This reminds me on how badly my English sucks sometimes. What I did here was translating it literally. And it’s not that it didn’t make sense but I had this huge amount of text. The text balloons where enormous. My first thought was on one of my favorite comic books. There where huge amounts of texts that distracted me from the drawings. This annoys me in some way and I thought Oh shit, now I’m doing this myself! but how could I say this in a different way?

I hadn’t a clue. You know and you hear it, I’m not a native English speaker. So, when Ilaria took over in here role as a translator (she transforms my English into native and she discovers mistakes that I don’t even see).

A little distraction of Daisy the dog happens at this point….

Sorry, I was a little bit distracted now. Here is where the magic happened and if you read this you probably think Why is this guy that enthusiastic about this? There are just a few sentence!

But Ilaria did such an amazing job here. She transformed this large piece of text into this tiny sentences and said it all. They even said it better than the original sentence. In a way that you can easily go through the pages and read them without being to distracted or even annoyed by this large pieces of text.

This shows me this is a project you can’t do on your own. Anyway, it’s a large project and a huge amount of work and I don’t know why I started it but it’s all about the passion.

Another problem I discussed here with Ilaria was when it comes to the improvement of the drawings, this will affect the characters in a way that they will look different at a certain point. The problem here is not to go to fast. You see, what I mean is what you see now and what you will see in the next chapters is that you shouldn’t got overwhelmed or distracted by the different look. Even though you will recognize the characters as they were and as they look then, the problem is that the transitions doesn’t has to go to fast. I don’t know, it has to be a slightly improvement. Even I would be able to make this improvement very fast I have to break myself at this point.

OK, let’s see where it all goes.
